Herfsland has 44 Life Right Units on the premises for self-sufficient and active older seniors. Each unit has its own small garden. Each garden has its own personality reflecting different styles and character -always thoughtful and peaceful. Herfsland’s gardener and garden services attends to the communal grounds. There are 34 two-bedroom – and 10 one-bedroom units, some with garages, others with carports.

They live independently from the Home but can contact the nursing staff in case of an emergency. For this purpose, each unit is provided with a panic button. A room in the Home is set aside for the residents of the units for temporary care for example after an operation or fall. Residents can also order meals from the main kitchen and enjoy it in the comfort of their own home. Residents of the Life-Right Units arrange their own activities and are also welcome to participate in the active aging program of Herfsland.

Although a waiting list is kept, factors taken into consideration are the urgency of the circumstances of potential buyers as well as the availability of funds.
